FT Business, in partnership with the South African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA), and the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA), presents Private Equity in Southern Africa 2012, a leadership summit for private equity and venture capitalist investors.

South Africa’s addition in the BRIC group of countries in 2011 has put the country firmly on the investment map for the coming years.  It is a crucial recognition of the country and continent in a world where emerging markets are taking the lead in driving global economic recovery, and it will be a key factor in defining the future growth of the private equity industry across Southern Africa.
